Lots of my art doings have happened since my last newsletter. After being an “Emerging Artist” for the 2024 Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival I decided to take the plunge and be an Art Festival Artist. I have followed up on that and have been in four festivals since then. As I expected it’s not easy and not for all Artists. I think a book can be written about it. I will say my admiration only increases for the people that do it. It is so hard. By the way I have met some great people doing the festivals. For me one of the uplifting benefits of doing these festivals. Speaking of which, here are the festivals I was in.

1. Tavares Art in the Park Nov 2024. Where I showed my abstract monotypes.
2. Lake Nona Art Festival February 2025. Where I showed my “Symbolic Lines and Color Fields” and abstract landscapes.
3. Mainsail Art Festival April 2025. Where I showed more or less the same as the Lake Nona Art Festival.
4. Mayfaire by-the-Lake 2025. Where I showed mostly landscape paintings and some abstract landscape paintings

Since my last update besides painting my goto painting type, landscape, I worked on two other bodies of work.

Symbolic pieces already mentioned which were referenced from smaller monotypes I had done.

My website got a major update. Which includes a lot of the work I did in 2024 and 2025. Also added was an easier way to browse my artwork via many galleries which group the artwork. The store front is turned off for now. Reach out to me via the contact page if you are interested in anything.

Going forward this summer I plan to paint pieces for the coming season starting in the fall. Painting toward pieces I think will sell while keeping with my aesthetic, no easy task. In my opinion.
